Description:
The Project Works are grouped for implementation purposes in four
Tender/Contract packages as detailed hereinafter:
Contract A: Zarqa Ma’in Headworks, Pumping Station &
Northern Conveyor – Part 1
The scope of work includes:
– Suweimeh – Zarqa Ma’in Conveyor extension, DCI Ø
1200mm, 12 kms.
– 20,000m3 Reinforced concrete terminal raw water reservoir.
– Zarqa Ma’in Headworks including diversion weir, settling basin, regulation tank Confluence structure and central
pumping station of 4 pumps 250 l/sec each at 150m head.
– Zara Collection Facilies and Pumping Station including collection structure, equalization reservoir and pimping station
of 3 pumps 120 l/sec each at 25m head.
– Wadi Abu Khusheiba Diversion Facilities inculding diversion weir, settling basin and a 2000 Ø 400mm DCI supply pipe to
Zara pumping station.

Contract B: Mujib Headworks, Pumping Stations and Northern Conveyor – Part 2.
The scope of work includes:
– Mujib headworks including diversion weir, sandtrap, header
tanks etc.
– Mujib Pumping Station, 1.5 m3 /sec.
– Northern Conveyor
– Ø 1000mm DCI pipeline, 7 Kms.
– Ø 1200mm DCI pipeline, 21 Kms.
– SCADA System.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Supervising all the structural works which have been
constructed in contract A & B which includes mujib
diversion weir, mujib settling basin, two water tanks,
mujib pumping station, lowering and reinstatement of 40
culverts along the route of the pipe line , constructing of
100 piles to support the pipe line along wadi crossings
and constructing of sweimieh ground reservoir.
● Detailed survey of quantities of work performed.
● Preparation of progress report.
● Review, checking and approval of shop drawings
prepared by contractor showing details of construction.
Feb 2002 – Jun 2002: Arab Medical Center Extension Project in Amman as a
Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor and Planning

This project was an extension project for Arabic heart centre
which consist of three floors the first one contains a
reception area , mechanical room and hydrotherapy room
the second floor contains external clinics and the third floor
contains three operational rooms.
The area of each floor is 1200 m2 and the total cost of this
project is 750,000 J.D.
Duties & Responsibilities:
– Supervising all the stages of work structural and
architectural works to ensure the exact application of the
construction drawings.
– Supervising tests on materials used on construction to
ensure the full adherence of the required specifications.
– Working as a quantity surveyor and preparation of
payment certificate to contractor.
– Preparation of progress reports.
– Checking and approval of shop drawings prepared by the
contractor showing details of construction.
